So many dead, so many dead, so many dead
Can't get the misery out of my head
All my friends, one by one, go away
And even in death, their ghosts will go astray
More and more every year
Leaving me in mortal fear
And one day sometime soon
They'll come for me bringing doom
So I gather all my strength
I will win at any length
Raise my guns up to the sky
Pull my triggers when I see their eyes
This is full on premeditated first degree revenge
All of them gone, all of them gone, all of them gone
Shake all night and pass out hard at dawn
Cannot grasp how many of them have died
All I see is rows of graves for butterflies
More and more every year
Leaving me in mortal fear
And one day sometime soon
They'll come for me bringing doom
So I gather all my strength
I will win at any length
Raise my guns up to the sky
Pull my triggers when I see their eyes

Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10 RJ

What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music. Sælzer Bub

The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel. Metallurgical Fire
